I don’t understand what D’Angelo thinks he’s accomplishing right now? He’s going to piss management off if he misses camp, and even if he has a good year I can see them trading him at the deadline, which I think, would be a big mistake for both sides.

I mean when you state it like that, sure, it sounds silly. But that ignores the realities of ELCs, RFAs, and QOs. I mean Tony should want to make more than Staal and Smith as well, since he's better than then across the board, but we all know that's not how it works.
