Gallagher is done, 3 weeks in October never changed that fact.

Did want Armia Anderson Gallagher and Dvorak out. I could live with current Armia and Anderson on the team, but their contracts suck

Heart and soul of Le Tricolore. Playing 800 games for 147th overall pick, He could teach a lot what it takes to be a professional hockey player. Got in NHL solely on work ethic

Him and Josh Gorges got to be the most overrated players since I've been watching this team.

Gallagher was not overrated in his 20's. He was 15th in goal scoring for RW players in his 20's.... Averaging 25 goals/season form age 20-29

Gorges was overrated to some degree but did we though? Carrier is basically Gorges round 2 for us and are we overrating him just because we like his top 4D stable game?

Why? He's still acceptable as a 3rd/4th liner and the penalty makes no sense. 1.75m, 4.25m, 1.75m, 1.75m. We save next year, save only 2.25m in 26-27 and lose 1.75m for two more years. No reason not to just wait it out. Only two years to go. Worse comes to worst he goes to Laval.

1. He has a complete NMC and cannot be sent to Laval.
2. His legacy will take a huge hit if his play keeps going downhill which I believe he doesn't want. Bottom line- Gallagher is 100% a hard worker but he simply can't play at this level any longer.
The best thing for Gally would be LTIR

To clear his spot. He's one of the worst players in the league. Looks completely done, can't even make simple plays anymore. Of course you don't do it if you don't plan on filling his spot with something useful.
