Nash said he had no injuries that were affecting his performance. Says he doesn't need any offseason procedures.

From SNY:
According to tweets from Steve Zipay and the Rangers twitter account, Brad Richards called this season disappointing and one where he has to “start over.â€

Zipay tweets Richards saying that he will start his offseason work in a week or so.

Richards said that he came to NY to be a Ranger for more than a season and a half and that he hopes to stay a Ranger.

He added that he has a lot to prove and a higher level of play to return to. Katie Strang tweets that Richards said he didn’t feel normal all season and that “obviously there was something missing.â€

In that case he was a huge flop. More disappointing than if he was hurt.

Agreed. I honesty thought he was banged up heading into the playoffs. Perhaps he was but didn't want to make excuses? Or is that just me making an excuse for him? lol

Hank is in poor spirits right now. And who can blame him? He wouldn't be the goaltender he is without being really intense and competitive.

Things will work out.

Richie will have a busy summer.
“I didn’t feel normal all season,†said Richards, who was made a healthy scratch for Games 4 and 5 versus the Bruins.
To be clear, Richards wasn’t using the lockout as an excuse. He says he’s got to start over and will begin training in a week.

As for the buyout speculation, he said there’s nothing he can do about that, but that he didn’t sign in New York to play a year and a half. Whatever management decides, he’ll be playing hockey somewhere next year.

When asked to assess his playoff performance, Rick Nash said, "Good." When asked what surprised him about New York, Nash said, "Traffic."

Can somebody please tell Nash what good means? What's really frightening is Nash is serious.

This comment to me is worse than Drury saying that a loss before the Christmas break wouldn't ruin his Christmas. If Nash thinks 1 goal in 12 games in the playoffs is good what the hell is bad? What's 2 goals to Nash? A fantastic playoff run.

I like Nash but this is complete garbage....

I still think he was injured, he may have gotten over it, he definitely tweaked his knee. No excuses though, he crapped the bed.

These guys devote most of each year to trying to win the cup. You're going to get some irritated or sarcastic answers. I suspect it takes a great deal of professionalism to not cuss out the reporters when they ask dumb questions.

Even if he was injured he had enough chances to score more than one goal. Nash could've made the difference in every playoff game and he was hardly noticeable for full games during the playoffs. For Nash to say his playoff performance was good is an insult.

Indeed, sometimes I am laughing at the question from my couch, these guys keep a serious face and answer them as best they could.

Zuccarello says he wants to be back next. Will see how offseason goes.

Zuccarello earned a contract. I hope he signs here BUT we could always let him go play in Russia again with hopes he joins for the playoff run again. Zucc could make more money in Russia and get a decent pro-rated contract from the Rangers at the end of March.

Staal said the puck caused a tear in his eye and it would cramp, making him feel dizzy. He said he was starting to feel better in last week.

Ouch.
