I disagree, I actually had a pretty good meal once at Ted Turner's restaurant.

That's funny!

I actually had a great meal at the place owned by a very famous/infamous republican. Of course the bill was ten times what it was worth and what I was told was Maine Lobster was actually a Giant Prawn but it was excellent none the less. Here's a hint, the place was in D.C. and very popular on "the hill".

Based on a lots of FB posts and some Yelp, it seems like the place is indeed a Chicago sports joint. The video was supposedly played more than once. So I don't buy that ******** about the owner being a Kings fan. And if the video was a "mistake" why was it allowed to be played more than once? **** that place.

Don't really want to rush to judgment here as this could be their livelihood. The owner may well be a Kings fan but the place may have been a Chicago transport hangout because of managers or something and the owner was ok with it all in good nature. Or maybe the guy is just lying now to try and do damage control. No idea since I've never been there and never met the guy.

If it's the former I feel bad for the owner and if I were him I would fire whoever let that video play (especially if it was on a loop) and if it really hurts business badly, possibly sue the idiot that put that on there. If it's the latter then I could care less if the place goes out of business from making such a bonehead move. It's fine for him to be a Hawks fan and hate the Kings, but knowingly putting up profane clip like that in the name of bad sportsmanship in the middle of enemy territory is monumentally stupid.

His response really didn't help the cause either.

KGK!!!

lol. True. But here it shows the apology with GKG. http://theroyalhalf.com/bbq-steak-heart/

I'm more concerned that a guy named Howarth owns a Brazilian BBQ. I didn't realize Howarth was a Brazilian name.

Nah his bread and butter is the Chicago crowd. If you brought your video to my hot dog shack, I'm not letting you play it on my monitors. Obviously the guy with the video is "in" with the restaurant.

I can picture this Hogwarth guy with a face like Patrick Kane after the better team won.

I am thinking about stealing his car and calling it even

Grand theft auto is a felony, which the eponymous video game franchise by Rockstar is named for and after. :teach: I even learned that back in 2005, long before gta IV.

Similar story: I even started avoiding my local Papa John's (literally across the street from and to my block) because of an email that uses "CHICAGO_PUCK_DROP_SPECIAL" as its one of the files' names on the email. :shakehead

I used to frequent a bar that had a promotion based around hockey that once the Kings made the playoffs was against their success. It had been years since the Kings had made the playoffs so I was fine going there until I found out that they were anti Kings.

I walked in and up to the owner and said something like "you don't like the Kings" F YOU!. He stood up and was this giant dude and yelled at me. I thought he was going to kill me so I walked out of the place in a big hurry. That place closed down that summer. The Kings weren't popular enough to have had an impact on his business either way back then (1981 I think but I could be off a year or so) but he was absolutely THAT guy.

Looks like this place is going to have learned a lesson and if they make it from here out so be it. I don't live anywhere near the area so have no impact on their business either way.
