Confirmed with Link: Brazeau traded to Wild for Jakub Lauko, Marat Khusnutdinov and a 2026 6th Round Pick (BOS)

In his first game this is what I seemed to notice. I thought he looked like a much different skater at the start of his shifts versus the end. To me, it made me wonder if he has endurance issues. I know he's had sort of a weird route to the NHL. I wonder if he would become a more consistent player if he had better endurance and then would get more out of his skating ability that he does have.

I dont see much left to “unlock” with brazeau. Hes like 27 or 28. Hes probably a 10-20 goal guy for the next few years with at least half his damage coming on the power play. Just my take though, maybe with the wild they’ll turn him into tage thompson..

Maybe they can convince him to care and actually work on developing some of the gaps in his game, but so far that apparently hasn't been a priority for him.

Ultimately I think he is a guy who is just not good enough to be your second line player, but that is where his game fits best. And then I think his deficiencies make him ineffective on a 4th line.

Good luck to him. Earlier this year there were people who wnted to lock him up for 3 years at 2+ million annually and I think instead he will likely end up in a situation where his value stays closer to 1 mil, and I am glad it is not in Boston

The only thing I'd say is for a variety of reasons he hasn't had as much traditional development time and experience as a normal prospect that age. And guys who are 6'5-6'6 and that size many times are late bloomers. I'm not saying it's more likely than unlikely.

In the first period he made a nice backhand pass to the front of the net. Didnt really notice him the majority of the game

He was one of the most consistent forwards for the Bruins early this season. Moved up the lineup. Hit a lot initially. Made smart plays every game. Impossible to get the puck away for the guy. Loved him. Suggested a re-sign at three years $8M (total).

He went ice cold at the turn of the calendar. Jekyll and Hyde. I didn’t know if anyone was going to trade for him but I was done.

The best of Brazeau is an excellent player for your bottom six and spot duty on the powerplay. And he really stepped up in the playoffs for us. The other Brazeau? You don’t want me to say.

I hope Khus breaks out for you all. He is almost the opposite of Brazeau. He has everything you would want to be a great defensive bottom 6 player and PKer with his speed. The question for him is can he translate offense. I'd like to see him get more chances with more skilled players. He also doesn't seem to naturally be that aggressive with the puck, but it's not clear how much of that is role and confidence and youth.

Definitely potential and not just a throw in!

While I like the trade, in retrospect they should have just kept Lauko and Boqvist last offseason, since Boqvist seems to be what Khusnutdinov could end up being. I don't blame them for keeping Brazeau and giving him a shot though.

Maybe the light will click on and he will decide to bust his a** this summer and improve his game, anything is possible i guess

I like khusnidinov’s hustle on that icing call. Hes got wheels. Has made a couple nice plays with the puck also. He might be a decent bottom line guy

Salem Willows (Salem the witch capital of the world) has a cool clam shack. I was with my kid and just got a clam plate - sat down at the picnic table - was all happy ready to dig in. She gets an alert or something looks at her phone and says ‘the Bruins just signed Max Jones from Anaheim’
