For while there I was on the side of thinking Brazeau could be a viable 2nd or 3rd line NHL player. He still might be at the end of the day. The size and hands combination is unique. Every other part of his game left a lot to be desired.

27 year old UFA to be. Had to get something back. Anything. I think I would have been satisfied with any three of the assets he got in return....

This is good I didn't see Braz getting a high pick too slow to keep. Lauko is a useful farmhand. Russian guy could be of interest but Minny knows there Russians if they are dumping him he's not an NHLer.

Keep these moves coming.

If I'm reading waiver rules correctly, if he plays 7 NHL games he's now eligible for waivers.

If that's the case, I can't see him playing ANY NHL time this season and for our management to keep those 7 games as flexibility for next season.

Don't get this one, Braz at least can score when he's on. Would probably rather a late round pick lottery ticket as a return than Lauko. Nothing against Lauko who I like as a person

edit: assumed prospect was a nothing throw-in, happy if I was wrong with that assumption
he`s been "off" for 2 months now and has a total of 10 goals all season

SO a little Braz story...

During the pre-game skate some players have little weird things they do every time. Braz would go to the bench and grab a water bottle ...take a sip and then squirt it in the air trying to soak other guys who were stretching out or skating by. Some guys got wise and stretched out further away, but he did get some of them.

He is very feisty. I have some hope that he will have a better season next year
Sometimes a player does much better in year 2 for his new team, it can take a while to adjust to new coaches, systems and teammates. I am willing to wait and see on Elias.

I like the idea of a 4th line Lauko-Kastelic- Koepke, could be something for next year at least, if they keep them all.
