After reading this thread it's painfully clear how underrated Hagel still is. If Hagel were a center he'd easily win the Selke this year, will be a finalist for sure. Half as good as Nylander? LOL get the f*** out of here

There's an endless amount of Hockey prospects who profiled similarly to Hagel who didn't amount to anything. Sabres just have the misfortune on giving up on a late bloomer and those with the privilege of hindsight get to make grand evaluations of competence
