I don't know what the end game is keep him around for 20 years at a sizeable cap hit and rotate the blue line around to make up for his lack of offense or toughness?

We got good mileage from him it's time to get a forward in a trade middle roster guys like this aren't supposed to stay on one team for 10+ years.

You need a PP capable RD it might spur McAvoy to improve on the man up and you can flip them between units. Peeke skates well and has size and is fine as defense first 2D. Even good Carlo isn't a great fit. Zadarov add gives us the big guy with reach wed lose.

Sweeney sucks for letting things get to this point.

Peeke is terrible and Carlo is absolutely worth the AAV differential and I wanted Carlo gone for Kesselring earlier in the season.

it's a toss up which one is worse. You've never liked Peeke. I've been down on Carlo except for last year, where he appeared to have his head removed from his butt. It's back in.

Still B's D should be better than it's showed, all year.

Any team that acquires Carlo will eventually be disappointed with how soft he is.

I said this in another thread I think Carlo is dealing with post concussion issues again. IMO it is the best explanation for his play falling off a cliff like this after a fairly good season last year.

Admit I have not watched much this year, but when I have it appears he has regressed.
There was a preseason game this year where some nobody blew by him. I thought it was just preseason, but
when I watch he seems to make mistakes he didn't in the past. He is one I would trade .

If the B's have a remote chance of making the PO's, I doubt Sweeney will trade anyone of consequence.
Myself, the significant players I'd dangle are : Carlo, Frederick, Coyle, and Zacha. At the trade deadline I think you can get quite a bit more than they are worth.
