I would think he's the odd man out for sure as things are now. Leskovar is NHL drafted. they won't trade or release him IMHO. Zidlicky and Fibigr anent back yet from the WJC yet. Drags must be injured, he played 2 back to back games the first week of Oct and hasn't suited up since. Eggleton is in the press box, wonder who sits next when Zidlicky returns, barring any injuries/suspensions. Recently acquired Gillispie is starting as well.

7 picks for K Smith, the 2 2nds and a third are ones that matter, the rest are midrange or below and are a bit out. Should be able to at some point to pick a few supporting picks to fill in some gaps.
K Smith hasn't played since Oct but for all the trade chatter going on and the deal it self, seems likely he be back fairly soon.

Anyone know how the OA situation ended up? I also agree with others on the likelihood of keeping Leskovar over Lefebvre, even though it's their forward depth that's lacking now.
If they do go with the 3 OA D, it will be a must to add some additional size up front (preferably a Centre). Also how often does a team have 3 OA D?

Played on the first line yesterday, had 8 SOG. Jared Harding had an assist for the Jr. Habs in the same game.

Aiden Lane is listed as member of the Kingston Frontenacs on the NHL mid term draft ranking list?
He's listed as Brampton on the OHL article, and still listed on the roster, typo? I'd like him too get in some games, noticed him in the small number of games he played. Not sure of his or the teams card status.
I think it's just a mistake, but clearly they don't proofread because the article about Hopkins is written (although who knows it might be AI using that as reference) and mentions Lane as a Front. I'm guessing something messed up in copy/paste since him and Dervin play together at SAC.

Porter has to have a big game tonight
Didn’t do phenomenal at the CHL series games and barely played at the World Juniors. He’s my pick for player of the game here especially if the east wins (I believe the west is far stronger)

good for porterNo lead is safe for these guys it seems, not being able to hold a three goal lead in the third isn't a good look even if it is jr hockey. With them trying to move up the standings to get home ice points can't be tossed away like that. They better play tighter against the Rangers today if they want a win this weekend. Not sure what we'll see this afternoon, hopefully a regulation win, I don't have much confidence 3 on 3.

On paper I'd agree, but their play on the ice doesn't inspire confidence of a playoff run at the moment. Lot's of time left to be sure, but a lot needs to straightened out as well. They sold off in 22/23 and acquired three first round drafted players and picks aiming for this year and it's quite possible this year ends with a first round loss like that season.

Possible and perhaps likely but they’re a team I wouldn’t count out simply because of who they have on paper. Not to compare but people wrote off the Pete’s and look at what happened. If Ivankovic gets hot against a team like Kingston first round for instance (who he plays real well against) it could inspire the rest of the team.
If Kingston gets 3 and Brampton gets 6- we may see an upset imo
Blowing a three goal third period lead to a rebuilding team not a good look something is missing on this team
The Petes were eight two-way forwards deep. The steelheads ain't nothing like the '23 Petes.
It was most entertaining for those of us who drove down from the hinterland of Grey County.
To think , the coach threw out a group of rookies , who tied the game in the last minute.
The Attack are 3-1 since Christmas.
