Brampton Steelheads 2024 - 25 Season Thread, Part I

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I shudder to think what that would cost.
The Steelheads need defenseman. We have only Finn and PVR who can defend at an Ohl level.
Gee, Sova are defensive liabilities. The call ups (Macauley, J Harding, Stephen) have been solid fill ins, but aren’t going to win us a playoff round.

I would imagine Karmiris would have to be part of the deal. If lucky, Guelph might consider MacDonnell as well since they don't have a lot of OA options.
I am a bit surprised Leskovar was not replaced, at least temporarily. But it seems to me a lack of interest or ability in defensive play from forwards is a bigger part of the reason for an alarming number of losses having a 3rd period lead with all three goalies.

Why is Dragusica not playing, is he hurt? High 2023 draft pick and not dressing seems odd after amount of games he played last year.

Speculation: pretty sure only guy with a NTC that is an 06 is Karmiris since he is a first round pick

Edit: Jack Van Volson is another possibility

Martone is an 06 FRP but for obvious reasons won’t be moving

Good addition. Still think you need more from a depth standpoint to compete with Barrie or Oshawa

What even is this teams starting 6 D now? They have so many guys.

Fibigr - F Harding
Smith - PVR
Sova - Leskovar

Or some mix of this?
