Well looking through your old posts you were also wrong about Matthew Tkachuk.
Matthew Tkachuk had 77 points last season and has 27 points in 33 games played this season. As for Stone inflating Tkachuk's stats let's look at the facts:
Brady Tkachuk's Stats 2018 -2019 (with Stone):
48 GP 13 G 17 A 30 PTS
- 0.625 PTS/GP
- 0.271 G/GP
- 0.354 A/GP
Brady Tkachuk's Stats 2018 - 2019 (without Stone):
23 GP 9 G 6 A 15 PTS
- 0.652 PTS/GP
- 0.391 G/GP
- 0.217 A/GP
Brady Tkachuk's Stats 2018 - 2019 (without Stone):
32 GP 11 G 8 A 19 PTS
- 0.594 PTS/GP
- 0.344 G/GP
- 0.25 A/GP
Sure Stone had an impact on Tkachuk's production but the facts don't support a claim of his Stats being inflated. The variation is too small to make such a claim.
Yep! Pretty weak stats for a 4th overall franchise player even playing with Stone. Only helps prove my point even more.
However, I have to applaud the management and some fan overselling him just to justify a very high pick
It is pretty evident that you are biased against Tkachuk and that you aren't really taking facts into consideration with your assessment of him. You also seem unwilling or unable to recognize your faults in your previous assessments of him and to use those faults to adjust and make a more accurate assessment. Even an absolute claim that Tkachuk will "never intimidate anyone with his physical play" sounds illogical and irrational. Your claim that "he isn't big" also seems odd because he is 20 years old and listed at 6'4 212 lbs. Either your definition of "big" is wildly different than the norm or you are being delusional.
