Marchand has been underpaid his entire career and just won his 2nd Cup, I think he’s ready to cash in. Maybe his time in Florida changed his feelings, but I can’t see him leaving a bunch of money on the table to stay in with the Panthers at this point in his career.I think it comes down to how much he wants. If he wants to stay in FLA he's going to have to take way less than the open market will give him. If he's looking for one last payday than it'll be to whichever team gives him the most. Regardless of location.
Came to say this exact thingI think he takes $6.5 x 4 to stay in Florida.
not likely ...Ekblad is already looking to be out, then they cant afford Bennett and MarchandStays in Florida
Florida ain’t paying him $8M. He’s got his cups. He’s going to get paid somewhere else.Stays in Florida
I agree. If all the reports are true he's going for the money. Anaheim makes the most sense because they have the money to burn and also want to be competitive.

I don’t remember it being a lowball offer thought it was more a term thing..I added Boston to the poll. Although I feel like that divorce is pretty final after how they lowballed him
