Marchand had an NTC which limited where he would go, which gives leverage to the Panthers in the deal, so I'm sure it's not going to be a killer return.

OK the best thing about this season just became watching Leaf fans realize how terrible Carlo is. I don't know what world they're living in but they all think he's good 😭
Carlo is exactly what Toronto needed. He was our 3rd best DMan.

Anybody who thinks he was a stiff, doesn't know what they're talking about. Yes, he's had a down year this year (like the rest of the club, excluding Geekie and Pastrnak), but last season he was arguably one of our best players.......and he's only making $4.1mil. We shelled out $5mil for Zadorov FFS.

Florida has their 2026 first btw, the condition on the Seth Jones trade was if they didn't trade it. If they did it became a year later

That's what Florida fans are guessing: did Marchand pick his location? To be fair, Zito tends to give good returns still (Jones trade, Giroux trade)

One thing Florida fans are wondering: does this mean that Tkachuk might be out longer than suspected?
