Value of: Brad Marchand to Colorado

Marchand and Carlo what would their worth be. Bruins are in limbo whether they’re going to sell or buy. When all is said and done I think they become sellers.

Carlo obviously from Colorado and is still a steady reliable defenseman just don’t expect much physical play and at times seems like he has a brain freeze, but he’s still a number 4 defender.

Marchand is still elite despite has age and obvious loss in speed, he still can produce and create offense, problem being in Boston, he’s been ask to carry a line and play with arguably 3rd liners and at this stage in his career Marchand can’t do that alone.

Bruins I feel would be basically looking for near NHL ready prospects/ picks

Also even though people meme alot about Marchand, he can offer significant leadership qualities. He has learned from some of the best, throughout his entire career. Something Avalanche have been missing since Landeskog (atleast from a non-COL fan view).

Think Marchand would thrive in Colorado tbh.

He plays in all situations and is a captain of an original six team. Yes, he's not what he was ten years ago, but there would still be a lot of interest.

So the mood I'm getting in this thread is that the Avs don't want Brad Marchand? Is that right?

I guess another way of saying that is that the Avs would prefer to play against Brad Marchand in the playoffs? Cuz if it's not Colorado, it's Vegas, or Edmonton.

He's a 37 year old rental on pace for 64 points. Wouldn't it be bad for the Avs if those teams used their trade capital getting someone younger and better? If it were actually possible, the best case scenario would be for them to both overpay for him.
