Mine too, but Marshy is also a fine pick. My guess is McAvoy takes over the C in about 5 years when he is 30 and holds it for 10 years.

Marchand wont straddle that line now?...that made him an effective agitating player. Get under your skin and use that energy to score points.

There are other ways to get under a guy's skin than giving a cheap shot or a slew foot and we've seen him lean into those methods over the last few seasons. I'm not worried about him.

I was a tad surprised they named one this season. That said, centennial season would be weird not to have one.

I already love how mad this is making dorks online, too.

I would have been shocked if he wasn't named Captain this year and would have considered it an insult to him if they hadn't.
