Keep the 1st. I would rather Sillinger or Del Bel Belluz. As a Jackets fan, I would offer Minnesota's 1st for Carlo. I would also trade Provorov at the deadline.

HopefullySomeone is going to overpay for Trent Frederic. Maybe it’s the Bruins, maybe it’s a trade partner looking to overpay like Tampa did with Jeannot. Either way, someone’s overpaying
Would one of Yager, Lambert or Barlow be available? Lambert would be top of list because of positional needs.Jets 1st and Heinola are probably available with some smaller adds for some combo of Carlo and Frederic/Geekie

Carlo has a NTC, so he's likely not an option for the Jets. I could see the Jets having some interest in Frederic, though I don't think he's much of an upgrade for the Jets' middle 6.Lambert and a pick for Carlo and Frederic would be the type of trade I’d like to see them make before the deadline
CoyleYou know if Coyle were to be moved, he’d have a great end of season/playoffs and then get paid. If I’m the Bruins, I either keep him and hop to resign him for the same/a little more or trade him
I'm just curious what interest there would be in these Bruins that could be made available at the deadline and some that for sure will be if we sell which again we should. Prospects and picks are of most interest. We could take on an expiring contract to help increase returns. Retention would only be on expiring deals.
Carlo MTC 8 team list RD Big stay at home d man locked up for two more years at 4.1
Coyle C NMC so hard to do but assume he agrees. Solid 2/3 c who has played up and down the lineup for us. One more season at 5.25
Frederic C third line center not having as strong a season as last year but on an expiring contract at 2.3
Brazeau Big strong bottom line rw who is a strong net front player who's having a season. Minimum contract ufa to be. Would like him back
Koepke/Wotherspon are just depth pieces but decent ones on expiring deals.
Then there's Marchand. I can only see him moved if he asked management to get him a shot at a cup and hopefully comes back in the off season.
Coyle playing elseware even for free would make this Bruin fan happy, he can take Carlo with him.You know if Coyle were to be moved, he’d have a great end of season/playoffs and then get paid. If I’m the Bruins, I either keep him and hop to resign him for the same/a little more or trade him
t top 4 rhd with term has no value? I 2/3 center that can play up and down the lineup has no value? A top line winger with loads of playoff expererience and a cup a ring who also happens to be a captain has no value? A gritty middle six center/winger has no value? There's some depth pieces in there but give me a breakThese are more like trade strips..Doesn't a chip need some meat on it?
Coyle has another year on his deal and if you wanted him back in your scenario you could just sign him in the off season given he makes it there. You know if Coyle were to be moved, he’d have a great end of season/playoffs and then get paid. If I’m the Bruins, I either keep him and hop to resign him for the same/a little more or trade him
How is Geekie? And whats the ask?Coyle playing elseware even for free would make this Bruin fan happy, he can take Carlo with him.
Two easy to play against flowers that wilt under pressure
I think if anything the opposite result due to this. Only 7 or 8 clear sellers and a bunch of teams in the mix, also a whole lot of teams that see themselves as serious contenders.I think prices are going to be low this year with so many tweener teams that can make the playoffs, but who won’t be buying rentals. There aren’t a ton of contenders who are suitors, and honestly, those aren’t attractive rentals I see. I highly doubt Marchand moves. Maybe a mid rounder for Frederic, and late rounders for the rest of the rentals, but the longer contracts probably aren’t going to move either.
Geekie has proven he can put up 17 goals both with or without playing on Pasta's line. Works hard, lays some good hits and wins plenty of board battles. How is Geekie? And whats the ask?
The guy who leads all centers in takeaways is easy to play against? He'll finish with around 120 hits, 50+ takeaways and is one of the best in the league at protecting the puck.Coyle playing elseware even for free would make this Bruin fan happy
Wow that is a tough one...How is Geekie? And whats the ask?
The Bruins don't really do rebuilds. They re-tool, swapping out core veterans for newer models. They've been doing it for years with success: Chara to McAvoy, Thomas and Rask to Ullmark and Swayman, Horton to Pastrnak, Zacha did a good job of replacing Krejci's production last year putting up 59 points... but Lindholm wasn't able to fill the Bergeron spot, and that was kind of the tipping point for things going off the rails. The Blues are in year 3 of a rebuild. Are the Bruins going down the same path?
Management is far from smart. Frankly they are almost delusional in their overrating a group of bottom six forwards and sixth or seventh defensemen. With McAvoy out for a bit BOSs playoffs hopes wouldn't be high unless they try to pull a Vegas and acquire McAvoys cap worth of players for a playoffs push .
Likely sellers if the management is smart
Stop with this insanity, he is the most overrated player in Bruin history. The guy who leads all centers in takeaways is easy to play against? He'll finish with around 120 hits, 50+ takeaways and is one of the best in the league at protecting the puck.
He also gets 65% Dzone starts and plays well enough defensively to garner Selke votes last season.
