11/7 strangely makes sense without Jenner and Chinakhov and while they are giving Mateychuk a trial run, the middle six really misses #59. Also I'm very much sold on Mateychuk but coaches are always wary of new defensemen. The latest 11/7 game looked better than the first try at it.

I don't see which of the current Columbus players he should push out of the lineup. At best, he'll play 20-25 games in the roster.

He's not even guaranteed a spot on the fourth line.

Does the team need a foreigner as a checker? There are enough of them in America.

Very much looked like a high stick to me but Boston isn't challenging so it's a good goal! (Edit: Voronkov's high stick didn't touch it.)
