Threaten them that they are all being traded to Detroit on day 1.

I feel like Krebs is better suited for the 4th line and is holding back Kulich and Benson but they haven't been together long so maybe Krebs will elevate his play to their level.

Feels like a missed opportunity not having someone more skilled there.
Having a vet like Zucker there would be optimal if KA could add a top 6F ever
Missing Greenway hurts as well of course.

The weird thing is that I do believe Krebs is skilled. I just don't know that he's able to unlock it at this point. He seems to do better in the fourth line role. It's like a guy with a PhD who's a really good construction worker but can't write a thesis. Never seen anything like it.

In the Panderverse
Maybe he has lost his love for the game? :naughty:
(and)
Can we just say it now, Taylor Hall was a bust and I'm glad whenever we beat a team he's on.
Hall has averaged ~$88k per game pre-tax in his ~15-year NHL career. I'd let hot wax be dripped on my balls for 1/10th that pay.

Buccigross is seriously the worst in the business and I don't think it's even close. Just talking in the middle of play like he's the color commentator instead of the pbp.

Do your f***ing job
25-30 years ago he was tolerable. Now just a disappointment.

I had Sirius radio (free) for 2nd half of 1st period (2nd goal onward) and 2nd period. Then ESPN2 telecast for 3rd period. I knew Callahan was bad. I knew Bucci was irrelevant. The combination? Like warm eggnog and stale fruitcake.

A less dirty Marchand.
That's the only comparison possible.

Let's see how they do in the road series against Blues, Stars, Colorado and Vegas.

There’s a season the streak started when he was injured and ended when he came back. He’s one of the best defensemen in the game, hands down.
Some people often underestimate him, especially on the main boards, for me he is the best player on this team and one of the best defenseman in the league, even Byram's numbers with him and without him are seriously different.

Last Sabres game I watched was against the Jets a few weeks back. I look at the box scores mostly these days, glad to see them on the right side of the score for the last two games.

Do they look different or is this unsustainable like always?

They look good, Cozens and Quinn seem to be getting some traction. Peterka is finding his game again. Benson and Kulich look really good together.

Dahlin being hurt for pretty much the whole losing streak and now being 100% is making a huge difference. He just tilts the ice so much.

Unsustainable probably in the fact that we won't be playing horrible teams every night.

But they deserve their props for how they have played last 2 games.

If Cozens and Quinn continue to keep getting better and Benson and Kulich keep playing the way their playing we shouldn't have to worry about double digit losing streaks again.

Progress
