Oh c’mon. Not every game is going to be a low event dump and chase chess match.

We have a 22 year old goalie who’s never been in so many high pressure games, are playing a team that’s still big and ornery, put up 44 shots, and came out with the win.

This was a playoff style game between two teams that are neck and neck in the standings and we didn’t wilt. We came out on top.

It’s a big building block.

And from a pure entertainment pov, it was awesome to watch.

I understand it won’t. It wasn’t the shots that I didn’t like. I thought we were immature. And we weren’t assertive in the rough stuff either.

We let an early lead slip away but didn’t buckle and managed to fight our way back into the game and win. That imo shows lots of maturity. Two years ago we lose that game 7-3.

We got suckered into a lot of shit and thrown off our game because of bruins shenanigans. We won. Good. We should have put this game away in the first instead it got out of control.

You see this as a guarantee of coming to together. Why? Because we scored late goals? Didn’t we do the same to Calgary two years ago and proceeded to crumble.

To me me this game was only indicative of a return of bad habits.

I was one of the mos positive people on this board first 20 games of the season when our goalies were the ones letting us down game after game.

Literally the majority of your posts are negative. Oh you spent money and still can't find a positive outlook. That's on you. Maybe invest your time into other things mate, things that inspire positivity, because you're not inspiring positivity in the team you apparently love.

If you can't see why things are gonna be great the rest of season, that's on you. Open your eyes, take of the jaded sunglasses you've put on and refuse to take off.

It seemed every time we were assertive in the rough stuff, we got the extra penalty so I don't blame them.

I thought we started great, it got away from us, and we rallied back for the win.

OT though, that was the worst I've seen in a while.

If they go with Forsberg tomorrow, I wonder if they recall a goalie to sit on the bench. Let Leevi have the day off entirely with how hard they have been working him.

If they play Leevi, it's telling about how they view their chances to win in front of Forsberg.

Sens chances of winning against the Devils are better with a shooter tutor in nets vs Forsberg in nets with his stellar 0.883 SV% and 3.10 GAA

As someone who was a doomer once Ullmark was injured, I'm ready to believe in this team again, despite being fooled in past seasons.

Leevi's play has been the stabilizing influence in goal we've been missing and it came out of just typical development. Normally I'd say once Ullmark's back you gotta send the kid down to get some reps and take the bet in Belleville but I think that's now a really hard sell. He's obviously NHL ready, and has outplayed Forsberg for the backup role IMO.

I just dunno what you do with Forsberg. He's shown flashes but hasn't been consistent enough. The team could just carry all three I guess but I suspect if you waive Forsberg someone will claim him given he's expiring. And Ullmark's injury situation would make me hesitant to waive or trade him...

Staois has a tough decision around all this but I imagine it's a refreshingly good problem to have.

Just came in to say what a game. My kid finally sat through his first full 60. Even my wife remarked she really enjoyed that one. Ate chips and the ginger ale was flowing

The Sens' schedule gets much friendlier from Mar.1 until the end.
24 games.
- only 3 pairs of BtB
- I counted only 7 games against better teams (although that's somewhat subjective).

Also look at that sweet sweet home stretch to close out the season.
