I have no idea how a team accepts that kind of scheduling. Almost every weekend is a back to back WITH travel. How is that even allowed?
The CBA says there needs to be 22 hours between starts so it is allowed.

Of course the NHL isn't likely to impose this on a darling franchise

Apparently we were 0-15 when down after 2 periods this year before this game.
Yikes

The team has been winning through defence and goaltending. It's nice to see them out up some offence. 45 shots and 5 goals when Swayman actually played well is impressive.

If anyone was fortunate, it was Boston. They were clearly outplayed.

I think the players may disagree with your joyless take. They seemed to pretty happy about it...

Exactly. This team has folded in games where they fall behind. The broadcasts keep pointing out our record is like 2-16 when we don't score first.

The team fell behind despite playing well, came back and won. In November this would have been the start of a 5 game losing streak.

Do we have any other goalies in the organization?

If they go with Forsberg tomorrow, I wonder if they recall a goalie to sit on the bench. Let Leevi have the day off entirely with how hard they have been working him.

If they play Leevi, it's telling about how they view their chances to win in front of Forsberg.

Still very hard to believe the team looked at the scheduling from mid-December all the way through January and didn't launch a protest against the league. I've never seen a schedule this rough.

HOLY SHIT I feel so dumb. I rage quit with less than a minute to go when 3 Bruins were skating with the puck for the open net. I guess it's time to rewatch this thing!

Charlie Coyle Legendary Net Misser

Is there any chance Ullmark plays tomorrow? They said he managed to practice on Friday IIRC.

Would bet my house on no

Happy we won jokes aside tho we played like ass and not a fan of the game in general.

Wtf, we outplayed them most of the game. Bruins had some opportunistic goals.

I don't believe you're a fan of this team. Sure you post a lot here, but it's 95% negative.

This is the kind of a game that is gonna bring this team together. Enjoy it boys, we gonna have a big few months here!

Leevi needs the break, Forsberg for the morrow

I thought the Bruins had it won on at least 3 occasions: up 5/3, chances at EN goals, 2-0 breakaway in OT.

I only saw the 3rd period onward and what I saw was pretty entertaining! I hope the boys have some legs left for tomorrow. Gawd, the Devils are always a tough team for the Sens to play against,

NYR, you have one f***ing job to do tonight

I think it's better for us if they lose. They've been playing better of late and if they fully wake up from their torpor, they could be the team to beat everyone to a WC spot.

I don't expect CBJ to keep their level of play for much longer. There's just not enough talent there.

that's for all the soft "fans" in this thread.

calling "game over" in the first.

calling out every single error as if it's indicative of some sort of lack of character.

giving up at the first opportunity and every opportunity after that.

Honest to god, if the team was as fidgety as the fans, they would never win a shift.

looking forward to all the "great teams know how to never quit" posts.

Games unfold as they do; You have to ride the waves.

super happy for the win.
Let's just be thankful the team has more fortitude than the fans do.
