Choked a 2 goal lead in the biggest game of the year.
This post is technically correct.

Pageauuuuuu, Pageau, Pageau, Pageau.....

Against the Rangers in the playoffs?
Pretty sure against Calgary last year.

The team has been winning through defence and goaltending. It's nice to see them out up some offence. 45 shots and 5 goals when Swayman actually played well is impressive.

If anyone was fortunate, it was Boston. They were clearly outplayed.

I think the players may disagree with your joyless take. They seemed to pretty happy about it...
Of course the players were happy about tieing the game and winning in the shootout.

I am happy the team won and got 2 points too.

Wtf, we outplayed them most of the game. Bruins had some opportunistic goals.

I don't believe you're a fan of this team. Sure you post a lot here, but it's 95% negative.

This is the kind of a game that is gonna bring this team together. Enjoy it boys, we gonna have a big few months here!

Leevi needs the break, Forsberg for the morrow
lol do you know how much time and money I sink into this team and have sunk into this team for basically my entire life.

We got suckered into a lot of shit and thrown off our game because of bruins shenanigans. We won. Good. We should have put this game away in the first instead it got out of control.

You see this as a guarantee of coming to together. Why? Because we scored late goals? Didn’t we do the same to Calgary two years ago and proceeded to crumble.

To me me this game was only indicative of a return of bad habits.

I was one of the mos positive people on this board first 20 games of the season when our goalies were the ones letting us down game after game.

Oh c’mon. Not every game is going to be a low event dump and chase chess match.

We have a 22 year old goalie who’s never been in so many high pressure games, are playing a team that’s still big and ornery, put up 44 shots, and came out with the win.

This was a playoff style game between two teams that are neck and neck in the standings and we didn’t wilt. We came out on top.

It’s a big building block.

And from a pure entertainment pov, it was awesome to watch.

Still very hard to believe the team looked at the scheduling from mid-December all the way through January and didn't launch a protest against the league. I've never seen a schedule this rough.
(I'm not letting the NHL off the hook, but:)
The Sens' schedule gets much friendlier from Mar.1 until the end.
24 games.
- only 3 pairs of BtB
- I counted only 7 games against better teams (although that's somewhat subjective).

Great gritty win by the team! That 4th goal.by Boston was probably the second or third rough one Leevi's let in but otherwise he played well. Saved our asses in OT multiple times.

Sanderson went god mode shot blocking at the end of the 3rd to keep us in it, and then they capitalized on those.

Critically, we will at least be tied in the head to head against Boston for the season, having beaten them back in November too. That could matter come April.
