We played like shit after scoring the first two goals; not for the entire game. I was disappointed that the team gave up so many 2 on 1s and breakaways. There were some stupid plays by both Fs and Ds.

They definitely looked drunk for large portions of this game, especially in OT, but to come back down 2 goals with 3ish minutes left with the empty net erases all of that.

With that said, if I'm the coach I'm demanding some of these guys do blood alcohol tests after the game.

I thought the team played a much better game against Washington, a much better team than Boston, even though they lost.

I have no idea how a team accepts that kind of scheduling. Almost every weekend is a back to back WITH travel. How is that even allowed?

The team has been winning through defence and goaltending. It's nice to see them out up some offence. 45 shots and 5 goals when Swayman actually played well is impressive.

If anyone was fortunate, it was Boston. They were clearly outplayed.

I think the players may disagree with your joyless take. They seemed to pretty happy about it...
