I want the Leafs beating Bergeron to be his last game in this league but that doesn’t mean I won’t celebrate it if the Panthers do it instead.

Did not think this series would go 7. Really wanted the Islanders to play Boston for a tougher match up lol. Turns out Panthers were playing playoff hockey well before the playoffs started and it continued for them.

That’s a weird way to look at it. Beating Bergeron is satisfaction for you?

If the bruins win tonight I want them to win the second round series, period. Not “beat Matthews” or “beat Tavares”.

It’ll be academic if they play like they have been and get bounced tonight, so no putting cart before horse, but your Bergy hate is just lame.

I really really hope Bob wins game 7 to silence all the haters

If he wins, he becomes the only NHL goalie to beat two different 60+ win teams.

Which is kind of crazy because everyone craps on Bob’s performance and contract.

Beating Bergeron is by extension beating Boston.

This is Boston’s last dance. They had the best regular season in NHL history.

It’s not rational. If it was I would hope that Florida beats Boston tonight because Boston has had the better of Toronto for a decade.

I want the Leafs to face Boston. Losing to Boston would suck but winning against them would feel far more better than beating Florida.

Their whole fan base is lame. They’ve become the pre-04 Red Sox. As far as Bergeron, it’s easy to hate someone who scored the final goal in the most embarrassing moment in team history. They may very well beat us in the next round, that’s if we even win tonight but they have zero chance of moving on and beating both Carolina and then LV, COL or EDM.

Oddly specific to desire such an outcome for Bergeron of all players.

2013 isn’t embarrassing at all. That locked shortened team sucked ass.

They were down 3-1 and somehow forced Game 7. They had no defence, they had 2 maybe 3 forwards and somehow found themselves up 4-1 against a team of 2-3 future hall of famers.

Keep in mind, Boston has had several embarrassing moments themselves and the only Cup they won was by riding Tim Thomas’s coattails.

You seem to have forgotten the choke against Philly, Chicago and St Louis so I’ll remind you.

1) Up 3-0 against Philly in the series becomes 3-3 and then up by a score of 3-0 in Game 7 as well and the Bruins blew that as well. It’s objectively the biggest choke of this century across all sports.

2) Chicago Game 6. Two U’s Two K’s two goals in 17 seconds.

Boston went from forcing Game 7 late in the 6th game, to blowing the lead and at least getting to Game 6 OT to losing to Chicago in the regulation and handing them the Cup all in the span of 17 seconds.

3) St Louis should be fresh in your minds but that too was a Game 7 embarrassing loss for Boston.

So you maybe shouldn’t be talking about embarrassing losses when your team has had some epic ones themselves.

They may add another tonight!

Came here to talk about a great playoffs series between an historical team and my miserable Panthers…

All I get is Leafs fans and Bruins fans arguing over which fan-base is the most cocky.

I’m already licking my chops, can’t wait to drink all those salty tears ! ;)

Yep, I’m focused on tonight. No idea what’s going to happen. Could go anyway. But definitely not going to give even a second of thought about something that might not even happen.

Should be a good one. Game 7, B’s were up 3-1, No presh lol. Anybody’s game but I think Boston pulls this through at home. Pastrnak probably has a monster game. Would rather face the Panthers in round 2, but if they beat a historic team, they become the historic team, meaning the Leafs would need to become the historic team. Is there a better game on earth?

Panthers fans know we were chirping back and forth all year and I said end of year Leafs - Panthers round 2. Now it's time to get it done. Complete the Bruins choke job and the east is wide open all of a sudden.

Go Panthers!!! Will be cheering you guys on tonight

By extension yeah, but naming a player you want to see lose in what might be his final game shows a distaste for the player…which is shocking given the respect he gets league wide from players, coaches and fans.

It’s fair if that is how you feel, just surprised Bergy loss makes you happy.

It sucked losing in 13 sure, but we still had an exciting deep run and lost to a better team just like we did in 18. How’s it been being 1 and done for the past 20 years? We’ve been to 3 finals, winning 1. You’re team hasn’t won in over a half century.

I'd be shocked if Boston loses at home tonight. I think they dominate for a 4-1 win.

Bruins fans deserve the meme of choking this series, after all the pain they put Leafs fans through over the years

If they do though it would be a choke of epic proportions.

I think it all rests on the shoulders of Swayman because there is no chance Ullmark is going to be in net tonight.

Imagine going 1-3 at home (.250 Win percentage) in the playoffs after winning 83% of games at home and only losing 7 games at home all season.
