Ullmark is clearly injured he was injured heading into the series and was game time decisions a couple times now. Not to mention he misses morning skates. I wouldn’t put his terrible play on him he’s doing what he can. This boneheaded decision to continue to roll him out there is on Montgomery.

I agree with that, it's Montgomery's decision, that is on him.

Both goalies were downright awful tonight it's just that Bob was slightly better when it mattered. He made that huge Grant Fuhr type save late to keep it at 6-5 before the empty net moments later. But it wasn't even just the goalies. The defense on both sides were also atrocious tonight. Overall both team's would probably tell you they needed to be better. So who will be in game 7? Guess we will see.

Bobrovsky's goals were a bit more excusable. He also made a few big saves.

Ullmark did nothing positive and was beaten by several undeflected shots he saw the whole time. He looked legitimately awful and was the sole reason the Bruins lost last night.

That’s an absolute lie. He didn’t cross check Forsling, don’t make things up.

Vicious, dirty cross check by Hathaway.

I can’t tell if that tweet was serious or not. Why do fan accounts (from all teams) insist upon clowning themselves like this? Should be a game or two? Lol no.

Tampa-Columbus series does exist
In fairness, the point differential here is way further than there. In this instance, Florida is also #16, dead last and had to qualify on their final game (and wouldn’t have if Pittsburgh didn’t absolutely choke against Chicago). Columbus was like #12 or #13 (and were #5 in wins, if you hate OTL points). Also, this Bob has been unbearable. That Bob was a Vezina winner.

That all being said, Tampa did get swept. And, despite all of the rankings saying otherwise, I would contend that Florida is a more complete and talented team than that Columbus team. Florida just got off to a miserable start with Maurice.

Tampa not only got swept, they got run over.

Columbus outscored them 29-8, (though the Jackets got 3 EN goals in game 4) and outside of that 3-goal burst in game 1 that caused Tortorella to go full metal ballistic in the locker room between periods, Tampa was never in it.

In this series Boston is very much in it and has been the better team for long stretches. But they are not used to letting goals in at this rate. It's like that saying about everyone has a plan until they get hit. The Bruins haven't had to worry about their goalie being a weak link all season and clearly don't have a game plan to manage it (to be fair, almost no team ever does).

Somewhere out there
Every coach has their blind spots, Montgomery has a couple for Ullmark and Forburt. Ullmark isn’t healthy and it’s affecting his game, the team on the ice feels it you can tell they look so tight in their own end. Now he’s in a tough spot, play Swayman and lose and why didn’t you stick with Ullmark? Play Ullmark and lose and it’s why didn’t you play Swayman? As for Forburt, they won 14 of 15 down the stretch without him, while everyone hyped up his PK abilities they killed a million in a row without him. Inexplicable that he got a jersey once he was healthy. Next game, any time he makes a tape to tape pass to a forward in the nuetral or offensive zone take a drink, you will be the most sober person in America by the end of the game. He makes Brandon Carlo look like Bobby Orr

The Bruins blew a 3-0 series lead and were an OT goal away from putting the Flyers away in game 4. This wouldn't even be their worst choke of the last decade or so

Boston had a PP in OT in game 4 as well. If the Panthers somehow fix their PK they might just pull it off. But most definitely both teams have goaltending problems going forward and round 2 it needs to be a whole lot better

I'm not a Bruin fan but even if they lose tomorrow i would still be pumped and through the roof about the season if i was a fan of them........They set amazing records that may never be broken in our lifetime.......That could be a once in a lifetime thing to see something like that......Some people act like the regular season means nothing but it does mean a lot.........Their season was insane and we might never see another one like it.....

They won the cup in 2011....That isn't that long ago
