They're faster and more physical than Boston. That intensity is tough to deal with after they cruised through the regular season.

I called it offline before the playoofs started that the Bruins worry me a bit because they faced no adversity in the regular season, everything went how they wanted it to.

When you first adversity occurs 7 months into the season it can lead to a bad week, and a bad week is the end of your playoffs.

I didn't think it would happen in the first round (and Boston will likely push back hard) but people coronating them have probably been premature.

I could see the Bruins losing the next one as well as they continue to recover from the Norovirus that ran through the team, then come out of the gates on fire game 4.

I don’t know that Bergeron will recover for this series which is a huge loss, especially with Krejci still clearly being hurt.

Still, this lineup is too talented to be one and done, and I expect some resiliency.

Biggest problem strategy wise IMO is that the Panthers are doing an excellent job denying entries. I think if you’re Jim Montgomery you start letting your horses like Zacha, Hall, and Pasta skate the puck in and take some chances rather than constant dump and chase which straight up isn’t working.
