Thought this was an interesting tweet. Not sure how much of this is accurate, but a fun rumour. Could New York Islanders grab both Schaefer at #1 and Hagens at 7th oa?

I would imagine the play here is the Isles would get the 7th and try to move up for Hagens.

Now what they have that the Bruins would give up the 7th for I'm not sure. Barzal? Boston doesnt seem like a fit for Dobson

If the Islanders came out with Schaefer and Hagens.... that would be a very good draft.

The Bruins are impatient. No surprise.

If at 7... Martin doesn't drop. And Hagens is still available. I think a trade between these teams could happen.

Maybe after acquiring Pageau, the Bruins have something else lined up - like trading Zacha for a late teen 1st.

The Bruins don't want to be associated with Barzal imo. Imagine after acquisition - if he is injury prone the rest of the way?

I assume if he was traded for the 7th overall his value would be around a mid to high 2nd rounder in this years draft

I think the only reason he was mentioned was there was a rumor a few days ago how a few teams including the Bruins are interested in Pageau(nothing to do with 7th overall pick)
