Not sure if some of these qualify as bold, but...

1. Zach Hyman walks. Signs somewhere for close to 6 mil per
2. Morgan Rielly gets traded. Not sure where, but I think that he will be the big piece we move.
3. Matthews wins the Rocket, again
4. Tavares rebounds to have a 40 goal season
5. Robertson makes the team and is a 40 point player
6. Galchenyuk is re-signed, and scores 20-25 for the first time in a long time
7. Campbell shows that he can be an NHL starter, and handles the job well
8. Leafs get out of the first round

1. Nylander is our second leading scorer after Matthews.
2. Matthews scores 60.
3. Liljegren is in our top 4 by Christmas.
4. Spezza scores 20 goals.
5. Robertson comes out of nowhere and is a calder finalist.

Leafs will probably miss the playoffs but if they do happen to squeak in as wildcard Marner will shit the bed in the playoffs because in his own words he said he wasn’t going to do anything different to prepare.

We also sign wayne simmonds with even less money than before and he'll thug it up for us again  Only plays on the second pp and some dirty third and 4th line minutes. 700k or 750k. A cheap sucka for life. A real leader too. not afraid of anythang. Still talking, WHAT!!! None of our other fools is.

We will make a TRUMP HUGE trade also. Gittin us ether Konecky, Meier or E.Kane. Maybe even some thugga D. We will prevail and our otha fools will lift their game too. Tavvy will kill fa sho. Matthews marner and nulander will score-a-lot records. Period.

Lou comes back and they go 82-0 and 16-0 in the playoffs and fleece ever team they make a deal with and sign a few big name UFA for league minimum

Just wondering what others big bold predictions could be for next season.

Could even include the off-season if you forsee a big game changing trade.

My bold prediction for next season is all about Tavares and how he is going to elevate himself again next season.

With his change in stick his goal scoring prowess made a massive rebound, the fire in his belly from missing the post season and wanting to make Team Canada all shall come together for him to have a glorious season.

Not only goals, but great defensive play, i see him and Mitch making Team Canada next year.

Some may be worried about the workload of Campbell but i see him taking the reigns and running with them this season, his first starting as starter.

Brooks makes the team and establishes himself as an everyday leaf.

My Bold prediction is the Leafs are a top 5 team all season, and then get past the first round.

Most likely the Leafs miss the playoffs. That would be my prediction today as they are stuck against the Cap and their best players don't get it done when needed.

It's going to be very competitive and other teams look at Leafs as a wounded animal. Lacking heart and confidence, themselves feeling soft and inadequate. The Leafs will live and die with the "process", one that hasn't moved forward and which they are expecting the near impossible "from zero playoff wins to a Cup". They will need to find recycled heart that most see is lacking when push comes to shove.

Dubas talked about a culture shift, and he tried. Did better than I thought under the circumstances, but they need more unhappy, dare I say, meaner and more physical players. Some that share the anger that the fanbase feel, some that genuinely care. It's clear the NHL refuses to evolve in it's playoff reffing, and thus, big bruising, creativity destroying interference hockey will remain.

I would have assumed Dubas gets his walking papers, and he still might, if not for the fact the Leafs finish atop the division, his creative efforts to put what should have been a Cup threatening team together, and, the injury to Tavares. The last outcome is not an excuse, but in seven games, two loses in O.T, it has to be counted in.

It's going to take the kind of shift that Leafs found when they picked up Gilmour and Macoun in the early 90s. Players who brings determination and a hatred of losing, and, they are talented enough to have an impact on others to do the same.

It's going to be an easy tougher off season for this team as they try to fill some holes, even while some cap space opens up.
