Saw this on the X machine. Haven’t heard a peep from Russo about the Wild even being interested in Boeser.
Leaving as speculation for now. Any legitimacy to this account’s reporting?
Is that how Bobby Mac spoiled the entire free agency at like 8am last year even though it didn’t open up until noon? No, that would violate tampering rules. Offers can’t be made until July 1st.
I think it’s Kypreos’ way of saying he’s going to Minnesota. No, that would violate tampering rules. Offers can’t be made until July 1st.
That’s tampering. Kypreos isn’t credible, and the Boeser Minnesota narrative writes itself. hometown kid, lifelong Wild fan, family reasons. Uninspired take and lazy take.I think it’s Kypreos’ way of saying he’s going to Minnesota.
Can an agent discuss contract (no pen to paper offers) with a team without violating the tampering rules?
This also makes no sense since he’s headed to UFA and he’s no that good that a team will make a trade for his rights. But I do think he’s gone and probably to the wild. Brocks a good man.Boeser trade likely being worked on for his negotiating rights.
Could be allowed by the Canucks to seek a trade for his player rights and 8 year contract. That’s tampering. Kypreos isn’t credible, and the Boeser Minnesota narrative writes itself. hometown kid, lifelong Wild fan, family reasons. Uninspired take and lazy take.
Why the hell would anyone want to sign Boeser to 8 years?Could be allowed by the Canucks to seek a trade for his player rights and 8 year contract.

Guerin tends to do the things that piss off Wild fans. Why the hell would anyone want to sign Boeser to 8 years?
Canucks let him walk because they didn’t want to go over 5-6 years.
If teams allow other clubs to talk with their departing players or trade their rights, it's fair game.Is that how Bobby Mac spoiled the entire free agency at like 8am last year even though it didn’t open up until noon?
Nope. But we know it happens anyways.I think it’s Kypreos’ way of saying he’s going to Minnesota.

You're thinking the expansion draft.I don't remember when, but pretty sure it was Seravalli.
Sounds like they're doubling back on Suter which isn't a bad option given how he really stepped up last year. Prior to his concussion, Boeser looked like he was gonna expand on his 2023-24 season but that unfortunately didn't happen. I can see why the Canucks aren't comfortable committing to a long term contract even though he'd probably shell 25+ and the Canucks absolutely need more scoring in the top 6. He gets a little too much hate but put him beside a speedy center with some vision and he'll score 30+ IF he's healthy and the concussion symptoms have 100% resolved.Hope there’s a plan on the Canucks end. Overpaying Boeser was never going to be ideal but the FA market seems thin and the Canucks need to compete.
Pretty sure that they changed that rule so that you can only sign for 8yrs if you are on the team by the trade deadline.Could be allowed by the Canucks to seek a trade for his player rights and 8 year contract.
He's already slow so it might not be a terrible decline if he stays healthy. He's not a goal scorer who has ever relied on speed.I feel like he’s gonna age terribly.
Not a very wild like player either.
