McMann is killing it on and off the ice. He's riding a momentum wave for sure and making the most of it - I reckon the new team culture has played a part in that.

Also got him on a great contract to see how long he can make it last. Feel better about this one than when we signed Engvall to a similar deal.

Treliving forced Keefe to use McMann Holmberg and Robertson by not bringing in a forward at the TDL
Mcmann and holmberg were ready last yr.
Robertson because of injuries no.

My only concern is look at the quality of the teams he has scored against. Other than two against Edmonton, all of his goals have been against bad or mediocre teams. They'll need him to produce against good teams in tight-checking situations.

Carter was 6+ years into making an NHLer. That's not on Dubas. Even Isles gave up on him

Back to McMann. Great find. We needed someone to work out that's not a top 10 pick

My only concern is look at the quality of the teams he has scored against. Other than two against Edmonton, all of his goals have been against bad or mediocre teams. They'll need him to produce against good teams in tight-checking situations.

I have no concern about that.

All their players play against weaker teams, and we don't remove Matthews goals when we count totals.
