Happy that he's proving me wrong and making a strong case for himself as a team fixture.

Tavares man holy f3rd on the team in even strength points per 60!
1. Matthews: 2.91 pts/60
2. Marner: 2.77
3. McMann: 2.44
4. Domi: 2.37
5. Willie: 2.17
6. Robertson: 2.12
7. Knies: 1.80
8. Jarnkrok: 1.54
9. Holmberg: 1.52
10. Tavares: 1.49
Obviously a tiny sample size, and he’s just been on a hot streak, probably regresses towards the mean with more mins. But he’s doing extremely well so far!
Stick him with M&M for a couple games. What's the worst that could happen?3rd on the team in even strength points per 60!

Kids been hanging around Matty. He's gonna ask for Jarnkrok/Kampf money. If he keeps it going, could he earn a 3 x $1.5 deal - would that get it done?
I'd take that and run. If you pro rate his stats he's at 23 goals, 44 points per 82. 6'2, 210 power forwards that produce on the 3rd line get paid big in this league.2 years at like 1.5 mill. 1 way deal. Good contract for both sides, if he is the real deal then he is back on the market at 29 with some history of performance in the league and gets some stability in the next couple years. Would offer Benoit the exact same deal.
Yeah he is also a 27 year old rookie that it just seems to be clicking for in the last like 2 weeks. It is kind of hard to put an accurate outlook on what he actually is going forward. Has he unlocked a new level(hopefully!) or is he on a heater? A 2 year low risk extension gives the team time to really know what this guy is and if McMann does establish himself as a 3rd line power forward that can put up 40 points he gets to market at a reasonable age for his next contract.I'd take that and run. He looks like the real deal. Driving the net with authority. Great shot.
Hi, it's me. And we're good brother. A lot of my support for him is because he grew up a very short distance from my home town and while the area might not make high skill superstars, they make workhorses who do what's needed to win. There was a dude here always advocating for McMann to be called up and whenever I read his posts I always rolled my eyes. I am here to formally apologize to you whoever you are and say that McMann is a beaut.
He looks like a bull out there. Jack Eichel face and Nathan Mackinnon mentality.
It is a good value, no doubt, especially if his plays help JT. However, I recall the Leafs have no cap space next year.2 years at like 1.5 mill. 1 way deal. Fixed it for you…Treliving shouldDubas would just give this guy $11m x 5 years already
He looks an old timey English Cop with that 'Stache and curly hair. Put one of those Bobby hats on him (Ironic) and he would be perfect along with a night stick as he walks his beat.He looks like a bull out there. Jack Eichel face and Nathan Mackinnon mentality.
