Bo Horvat

Keep Horvat.

Hughes stated he didn't wanted to trade for that type of player.

A 30 yo guy with a huge contract running until 2031.

Habs aren't in their window, they don't need a guy that's gonna be a quick fix but will alter the team chances of winning it all by being a contract anchor, when the team will REALLY be in its window.

Its gonna be a guy who's in his prime or an older stop gap guy on a short deal, while our young ones develop.

Horvat isn’t really a guy who depends on speed to thrive. He will likely age well. The cap is going up a lot over the next few years 8.5 for a 1B type of center that brings leadership, and can play in all situations is not a ton of money. I think adding Horvat to the Habs makes them a lock for the playoffs.

The only way the isles should move him is if the new GM is committed to a rebuild, personally I think that is what is needed but who knows what happens.

no problem..no isles fan is picking or flaming to get rid of the guy anyway. All you Montreal fans are coming to us

Horvat isn’t available but a 1st and prospect wouldn’t be enough.
I mean his value was arguably higher when he was traded to you guys and that return was a 1st and Raty who at the time was seen as a high-end bottom six Centre.
His contract is fine dollar wise but with his foot speed, I think it's fair to say his decline will be pretty big in a couple of years.
A 1st and a prospect if he was moved is absolutely the value.
