Stay to the inside and not chase and leave the middle of the ice open. Buy time and wait for help(that got back late). Who’s more dangerous the guy along the boards or leaving the slot open?

i mean , they're not playing great. Offense is nowhere to be found. Playing conservatively is fine but the top 2 lines doing very little.

Avs don’t play average defense. Don’t care about fancy stats they are 28-7 on home ice with Georgiev as their starting goalie. Average defensive teams dont win cups. If they were average they’d be the Devils

Has this been the most entertaining game of the season? No, but I think you can see that these are two quality teams, neither wanting to lose. It has a playoff vibe to it, as much as you can have it in the regular season. And this in terms of the actual gameplan, not emotional intensity.

Trouba would’ve earholed someone by now. It was sick when he KO’d Nate Dogg and Gabe in a 10 second span. It’s crazy he is so hated if you think about it. I wish we didn’t know anyone’s salary.
