Tarasenko needs someone that can run the forecheck for him and buy him space. Blais is excellent for that. It will last until we get Schwartz back and running at full steam.

I've been impressed with his game other than shooting. He's doing the right things...not being lazy or cautious just waiting around for somebody to pass to him. He's working.

To clarify, I wasn't going to bitch about his play. He's WAY better already than he was at this point coming back from the first surgery. I've always had an issue with him taking ultra short shifts no matter what the situation is. If he has to put any effort in on a shift, 95% of the time he heads to the bench at the first chance he gets. He's always been like this and it drives me insane.
