Funny how when these breakdowns happen in front of the starter the reaction is “well you can’t blame the goalie” but when they happen in front of the backup it’s “this goalie sucks”? I don’t see how Binnington stops that shot either the way Theodore was able to walk in and hit it off a tee.

I dunno man, maybe it's because the starter is a proven goalie that doesn't have the same mental lapse every single game? Allen got shit on plenty for his shit play so don't act like this is only because he's a backup.

He’s been consistently doing that since he played for Ottawa. He doesn’t go looking for hits, but it’s a myth that he shows away from contact — especially on the forecheck

No. The shooting percentage in that area of the ice is nearly 20%. There’s a pretty good chance that goes in on Binnington too.
