Funny how when these breakdowns happen in front of the starter the reaction is “well you can’t blame the goalie” but when they happen in front of the backup it’s “this goalie sucks”? I don’t see how Binnington stops that shot either the way Theodore was able to walk in and hit it off a tee.

I dunno man, maybe it's because the starter is a proven goalie that doesn't have the same mental lapse every single game? Allen got shit on plenty for his shit play so don't act like this is only because he's a backup.

Binnington stops that 99% of the time. He's got a great glove hand.

There’s probably not a team in this league more unjustifiably comfortable playing the puck backwards in their own zone than the blues...it blows up in their face constantly, and they just keep doing it.

I've been saying this the entire season, the Blues have got to figure out a way to exit the zone effectively. They have so many "puck moving" d-men but we can never get it out. So many turnovers, it's really annoying

No. The shooting percentage in that area of the ice is nearly 20%. There’s a pretty good chance that goes in on Binnington too.

JK - "Their defense jumps up at every opportunity"

No JK, literally every team is doing it because they can expose our system. We're bad at exiting the zone
