Ugly wins like this are fine against teams like Chicago and Nashville. The result is the only thing that matters. I’m fine if we save our better efforts for teams like Montreal and better teams. Hopefully we’ll get one of those Saturday too, but Calgary is down 3-1 going into the 3rd so we may finally get some help tonight!

Scotty Campbell's illness, Keith Osborne's injury, Erik Johnson's injury, The Blues up for sale so they trade away Chris Pronger for almost no return just so they won't have to pay him, so The team's bottom line will look better, they also had Scott Stevens and a bunch of First Round draft choices stolen from them by The NHL, ...etc. Do I need to list more bad luck events????

This is hard to believe. I had no expectation they had this in them. Loved the Offer Sheet Boys from the moment Army pulled that move off, but couldn’t have imagined this level of impact.

Yes, The Blues had the bad luck that when they finally got The #1 overall draft choice, there was no generational player in that draft. But, they COULD have drafted Jonathan Toews, and been a lot better off. But THAT wasn't bad luck, it was weak scouting. I suppose we could say that the franchise was unlucky to have not hired better scouts.

It generally takes defencemen a few years longer to develop fully. To ME, they were BOTH big steals.An excellent defenceman is worth more than an excellent winger, or even a centre. Both of these players should be difference-makers for The Blues for a long time.

Love beating the Trashville Herpadors in their barn, their cocky out of the playoff picture atmosphere got real quiet when the Blues started scoring in the 3rd. I wonder if they'll hang a new banner this year: 0-4 Versus Conference Rival St. Louis Blues 2024-2025?

It was nice to be at the game last night, we were about 4 rows behind the Blues bench and surrounded by Blues fans. We did have 1 group of preds fans show up after the 1st period ended and they bolted as soon as Holloway’s second goal.
