Have not posted for awhile wanted to see how the Trade Deadline pickup was going to work out without all the hot takes the acquisition would generate.

The Hurricanes reminds me of the 2019 Blues. Excellent Forecheck, Good Breakouts, and most importantly a commitment to defense in their own zone. I think they have a great chance at going all the way.

This game reminds me of the sweep by Colorado last year in the playoffs, we give up way to many chances off the rush and if we manage to defend them we end up giving up a goal because our coverage is poor in the d zone way to many breakdowns.

Hard to consider this team a contender with consistent efforts like tonight.
