Last time et Cup run I see that passion on players. After Hoffman scored. We were humming.

This is huge boost for team confidence.

This felt like a pretty important win, both for the standings but also for showing they could overcome the adversity of the early penalties and 0-2 deficit against a good team.

It would be good news to hear Parayko has some nagging injury besides his back, that’s why they started 7D and that it shouldn’t take long to recover. But I’m inclined to believe this is his back again.

Btw that moment when ROR scored and went to bench. How determined look and what he spoke. Even not hearing what he said speaks everything. Guys are hungry and are going live up again.

You just see it from players eyes.

Even that time when Schwartz get tripped. His look in his eyes. It's something else.

Cup run you saw that look.

This is really promising.

Even there was up and downs on this game.

I'm starting to believe. :bb:

Big win for a few reasons. We need points (duh). We also needed to grab a win against one of the better teams in the division. Coming back from an awful first three-plus minutes is a good sign. The penalty kill in the final four minutes was also huge, as it was exactly the kind of buzzard that circles us against the Avs.

At times, they even looked like they had been on the ice together at least once before!

I still want them to tighten things up around our net. We give up too many "what were we thinking" plays. Demonstrating how to clear the puck out of the defensive zone on a consistent basis would be welcome, too.

But, they could have swirled down the drain after the first three-plus minutes, and instead they fought through it. Thanks in no small part to ROR.

Is Colorado becoming the new Ref Jose?

All I have seen is a bunch of embellishing and complaining about calls the whole game from them.

May sound a little weird, but this Colorado team reminds a ton of Boston 2019 SCF with us.

Colorado doesn't do a ton against us on 5 on 5 scoring wise, but kill us on the power play.
