imagine if Army decided to resign Schwartz instead of using that money on Saad + others.
Schwartz would have gone to Seattle, anyway. He had already decided to move closer to his parents, and had informed Armstrong. But, I agree that signing Saad and trading for Buchnevich were great moves.

I think only a couple of posters actually think he sucks. He is absolutely an integral part of our lineup. Having said that, the fact that is he almost irreplaceable right now says a lot about the underlying problems with our roster construction, especially at LD.
No it doesn’t. The cap is the reason we can’t call up Perunovich to replace him.

What team just has someone sitting around to replace Krug? That doesn’t make any sense.

Outside of injuries, the start of this season has really been great to watch.

The Blues are playing as a team and rolling 4 lines, usually dominating the opposition. Even if they are not carrying the play, their special teams keep them in games.

The Refalanche are playing like total ass because the officiating is not feeding them 8 Power plays a night except for a few games and they have goaltending and injury issues.

The Blackhawks are a literal dumpster fire and its a beautiful thing to see.

Vegas has cap issues along with massive injury issues. Plus, like Colorado they downgraded in net.

100% agreed! With a proper 1D on the left, Krug is the ultimate luxury, but as the team is built right now he IS the offense on the left

Thomas gives the defenceman a deke, for an unmolested point-blank shot, right in front, but misses. But I'm glad to see he's shooting a lot more than last season.

I said at the beginning of the season to put Thomas and Kyrou on a line and was told on here it wouldn’t work because they suck together. Lol.

Looks like they’re doing just fine making plays.
