Pretty sure the Avs let off the gas and started looking to the next game once the Blues got that third goal. The biggest takeaway from tonight is that this is one of only 2 teams that can even remotely challenge the Blues for 1st place in this division. Off to a good start.

The Blues have played really well, and get Hoffman next game, Friday. Binnington has looked good. The Blues still have their grit, and with Krug and Kyrou added, are faster. I'm feeling good about this season. On D, Krug's speed makes up for his small size disadvantage.
