That one is real confusing to me.

Washington and St. Louis are comfortably ahead in my view. But I don’t have much faith in Nashville’s pool at all. Their good prospects are fine. But they epitomize what everyone complains about the Blues. I wouldn’t trade the Blues pool for theirs one bit.
I don’t think most Preds fans are particularly high on their pool either. Molendyk looks like 2nd pairing D, couple nice middle 6 center prospects, couple wingers with talent but less than Snuggy, and bunch of depth guys. Our rankings should be flipped!

Figured I’d listen to the ahl game that starts right now

Pregame made it sound like they’re playing Stenberg at center…at least that’s what the dude implied when he read the lineup. (Maybe the dude misspoke)

The kids are flying tonight. I purposely listen to the other broadcast as to what they have to say about the Blues prospects. (More objective). You play the Blues and it’s a track meet. That Loof kid is everywhere and their d is so fast. Just no time or space to make a play. That Robertsson kid is a skill guy but he is not afraid to block shots. Peterson is just dirty and needs a buttkicking. (They said that before he ran their goalie for a 5 minute major which Peca got a shorty). Peterson dropped the gloves right out of the box. Kid isn’t afraid. Kids are on it again. All look good.

It is a solid pool though. Edstrom I would love to have in our pool. a legitimate center prospect with size and speed. Big fan in his draft year. Still have Matthew Wood, Marques, Stiga, Yegor Surin (jealous), Felix Nilsson, and Andrew Gibson.

@Brock
Can we ask for your opinion on Burns? :)

No question, he's had a great year for Kingston. St. Louis should be very happy with how he's developed; pretty much best case scenario thus far.

His NHL projection probably hasn't changed a ton, except for him being more likely to hit it. He's not a high skill guy; he gets into trouble still when he tries to do too much offensively or overcomplicate things. He's not a transporter. He's not aggressive in leading the offensive attack. He focuses on making quick outlets. He gets pucks on net. He's efficient, but his bread and butter will be in the defensive end at the next level. The overall mobility is solid. He's physical. He's highly efficient defensively. I think you're looking at a potential #4 guy who can help anchor a PK unit. Best case, think Erik Cernak.

Thanks! What about Lukas Fischer? He seems to be progressing too. Where do you see his projection?

Thank you, Brock. Physicality with defensive efficiency. I like that.

Juricek
Ralph
Fischer
Mcisaac

Did the Blues hit on all 4? All 4 look like legit NHLers
