Wait! He now lives out of his car?!?
Are you kidding me? He obviously lives in a broken-down van by the Mississippi River.

Another benefit of Snuggerud getting a call up at the end of this year - we’re going to be reaching full saturation with the number of simultaneous rookies that an NHL team can absorb without losing some physical maturity and competitiveness. We might see 3 or even 4 rookies next season.Stenberg-Dvorsky-Snuggy, a whole second line on the cusp
Does anybody else see a big trade coming in the next few years. I mean simple math just says there are not enough top9 spots.
So lets say Saad does eventually move on. That leaves you with Thomas, Kyrou, Buch, Holloway, Neighbours and Schenn locked in as top 9 spots going forward. That is 6/9 spots being claimed. That leaves 3 spots for Bolduc, Dvorsky, Snuggerud, Stenberg who have NHL potential all over them and then add in longer shots like Stancl, Kaskimaki, Pekarcik and more. Over the next few years things are going to get real crowded, it's a good problem to have.
i think Bolduc, Buchinger, and a pick end up getting moved for a RHD before the end of next year.Does anybody else see a big trade coming in the next few years. I mean simple math just says there are not enough top9 spots.

It really depends on how high of a pick we are willing to trade. If it's at the draft and we trade our 1st I think we can get someone good. Tho I'm expecting a middle pair defenseman to pair with BrobergWhat kind of RHD do think that brings though? I like Bolduc and think he has a future in the NHL but there are still questions. He hasn't exactly exploded on the scene this year. He is only 21 and has a ton of runway, maybe a trade for a RHD prospect with similar upside?
Yes, I have mentioned this before. Even within the LW position, we already have Buch, Holloway, and Neighbours there already. Where is Stenberg gonna go? We could shift Holloway to the middle (provided he gets better at faceoffs) but where that does leave Schenn or Dvorsky? We could shift Neighbours to the right side but where does that leave Kyrou, Snuggerud, or Bolduc?Does anybody else see a big trade coming in the next few years. The math doesn't work only if they all/most hit Top 9 development. Even if a bunch hit, there is a huge benefit to having a couple top 9 guys on the 4th line like we did with Barbashev (a younger guy) and STeen (and older guy) in 2019. I don't want to count our chickens before they are hatched and end up short a Top 9 guy either.
I definitely hope we don't trade guys to clear room before it is needed. If a deal comes along that works, then you make the trade. But projecting out prospects for 3-4 years down the road can backfire.
