Prospect Info: Blues 2024-2025 Prospect Thread

Watching Fischer for now. He just had a nice offensive chance I liked the way he moved at the top of the zone. He's a fast skater. Needs some mass on the frame before he will have a real chance at the next level but the size speed skating and meanness is obvious as of now

He has definite two way game to him, jumping up in the rush. It's his first step or two that need work. he is very fast once moving, and as the period ended a good example of good gap work and defense. Captain. Multiple chances at points that period

Our games today Fri Jan 10 are

Snuggles #81 (UMinn) 4pm at Ohio State
Fischer #13 (Sarnia) 405pm vs. Owen Sound
Burns #41 (Kingston) 407pm at Sault Ste Marie
Ralph #4 (St. Cloud) 407pm at Minn Duluth
Mrsic #26 (Prince Albert) 6pm at Jecho #43 (Edmonton)
Stancl #24 (Kelowna) 7pm vs. Prince George
Are these Pacific time or something? I'd like to watch Stancl but my stream says it's not starting yet.

Stenberg-Dvorsky-Snuggy, a whole second line on the cusp
Another benefit of Snuggerud getting a call up at the end of this year - we’re going to be reaching full saturation with the number of simultaneous rookies that an NHL team can absorb without losing some physical maturity and competitiveness. We might see 3 or even 4 rookies next season.

Does anybody else see a big trade coming in the next few years. I mean simple math just says there are not enough top9 spots.

So lets say Saad does eventually move on. That leaves you with Thomas, Kyrou, Buch, Holloway, Neighbours and Schenn locked in as top 9 spots going forward. That is 6/9 spots being claimed. That leaves 3 spots for Bolduc, Dvorsky, Snuggerud, Stenberg who have NHL potential all over them and then add in longer shots like Stancl, Kaskimaki, Pekarcik and more. Over the next few years things are going to get real crowded, it's a good problem to have.

My theory is that someone could get moved in a package for a top line forward or high end RHD. I’ve always had the feeling it’s gonna be Bolduc(or Snuggy if he doesn’t want to sign).

Stenberg has the skillset to start on the fourth line, and it feels like by the time he’s fully ready for top 9 minutes, Schenn could be trending to where Steen ended his career. Very high end 4th liner, but average to below average third liner.

Imo, Stenberg spends most(if not all) of next season in Springfield. Could get injury call ups if he really impresses.

i think Bolduc, Buchinger, and a pick end up getting moved for a RHD before the end of next year.

What kind of RHD do think that brings though? I like Bolduc and think he has a future in the NHL but there are still questions. He hasn't exactly exploded on the scene this year. He is only 21 and has a ton of runway, maybe a trade for a RHD prospect with similar upside?

Burns' team stormed back from 5-1 down to win 6-5 in OT, he had an assist. Jecho has a primary assist in the first against Prince Albert
