Patches is pretty much at one point per game, he has 13pts in last 11gp.
Not always pretty, and I can deal with that because he was playing with Plek in a two way role versus toughest opposition.

Shouldn't be on DD either though. This is on Therrien and this obsession of his.

Says a member of a board who has a gazillion threads going as far as DD is concerned...not sure who is more obsessed....

Let's wait a little before saying that this 1 game where they are reunited is WAY MORE important than the 20ish other games they weren't....

We've had the better period, the better legs and chances. And yet, nothing. They're playing that classic road game of being opportunistic and hoping goaltending, trapping and blocking shots works (aka the Torts mantra since 2010). So CBJ really isn't in that much trouble despite the play so far.

Pleks despite all his production over the years is the last guy I want with a puck on a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 cause he'll never pass it and never seems to score. The one he had last playoffs (yes he had a playoff goal) on Ottawa during a 2 on 1 in Game 1 was one of the memory banks folks. Cause you barely ever see that. It's likely why Plekanec is so much more lethal on breakaways. He can be the only shooter and not have a defender zero in on him.

Most problematic thing is MORE than just the DD-Pac reunion...it's the line juggling. Therrien doesn't juggle his lines AT all....and in a moment, like the 1st game after the Price news, when you actually need as much stability as you never needed.....you juggle your lines. Incredible.

The later this game gets the more worried I am. One of those ugly fluke goals and we're done. And even if we escape with the point and it gets to OT, our team looks so brutal on 3 on 3s even when we're rolling! Sooo... shootout?

He definitely doesn't make it easy to support him. Just when you think he's doing a good job...

Our team looks VERY different from that 9-0 run.. its very offputting seeing how different it is lol because of both injury and line juggling... its unrecognizable really..

we can only HOPE ... that it comes back in time for the playoffs..

Playoff Pleks has come to play lately.

You mean playoff DD the last 10 games

Pleks has tough matchup a all the time and has a dual role of checking top lines as well as producing points.. Of which he has 4 in last 4 games
