He just said he wanted out because the org had been too complacent for years, losing was accepted. I don't know if that constitutes as him saying " he wasn't part of it". When has he not been critical of himself?You really don't see a difference between the the guy coming into Columbus saying that the culture is bad and vowing to make it better, and the guy who jumped ship saying that the culture was bad, but that *he* wasn't a part of it?
If it's generally agreed on here that losing was acceptable in the organization as Waddell and Laine said, then it should be fine to hear from any messenger. It's an observation. For Waddell it's something he wants to fix as the new GM and for Laine something he wanted to get away from as a player.
