It's hilarious, sad and pathetic that he's paid considerably more on a 30+ year old contract than Siegenthaler in his prime.

I agree man . I don’t know if it’s his draft position he went at or his size or what … both are over rated and don’t mean shit anymore but I think old school GMs place way too much into both (drwdr position and size)
When was he drafted ? Like 10 years ago? Bounces around where teams think he will eventually play up to his draft position or ??

There's no way anyone does, but an RFA deal vs a UFA deal + Siegs saying he took a discount makes their contracts make more sense. A bit more at least lol
