defensive coordinator
Ah, that makes sense, smart move.
WFP and other outlets have it posted as OC.
I would have liked him back here for DC.
I guess it could be possible, but I thought I heard on the radio it was as a DC.
Now I am much confused.
Think you're right. I guess one outlet got it wrong, and a bunch followed. OC would make zero sense.
WINNIPEG -- Linebacker Pierre-Luc Labbe is retiring after six seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
RedBlacks get both Glenn and DeMarco. They now have a QB situation light years better than the Bombers. And they have yet to play a game. Sigh.
I wouldn't say Kevin Glenn is all that good of a QB, he has over achieved in Hamilton. I don't see him doing all that well in Ottawa, he's on the down slope of his career.
Now if we were talking about Anthony Calvillo then I would agree with you.
Still, can't wait for free agency to open up, just hope our new brass are finally going to do something instead of sitting back quietly.
How many season ticket holders renewed?
Renewal deadline was extended until sometime in mid-February I believe. Might hear some leaks in the media after that as to how many chose to renew.
How many season ticket holders renewed?
remind me: who's the starting QB for next year? still set to be Max Hall?
uggg....
^ We got Burris? Not bad, positive looking.
A dozen colleagues of mine and my parents each have 2 or 4 seats. Not a single one of them are renewing their seats. Maybe in a few years when the team shows some life again.
Bolded, unless the girl is ************ you giving the standard representative response...No we don't have Burris. There are 2 teams (Bombers and Ticats) after those 3 QBs, so the Bombers will end up with at least one of them.
I was at the Bomber store a few weeks ago and the girl working at the season ticket desk told me that season ticket sales are higher this year compared to the same time last year. It seems lots of Bombers season ticket holders are publicly saying they aren't renewing, but in reality they are.
Why do some people continue to support the Blue Bombers?? Seriously: WHY?!
I genuinely want to know because I don't get it. They're the worlds worst-run sports team.
There's a difference between being a "die-hard fan" and being a SUCKER.

Because it appears that they have taken steps to at least try to improve the organization starting at the top. Buchko out, Miller in. Mack out, Walters in. Burke out, O'Shea in. New assistant coaches for the most part.
There are still concerns with the Bomber BOD and the lack of experience present in the coaching staff. Also concerns with the two biggest weaknesses on the field - the O-line and starting QB, but we won't have any idea how that will be addressed until free agency begins in February.
I think the most fans are willing to give this new group of coaches and management a chance, but I'm sure there will be some drop-off in the season ticket base from last season. Just too many bad seasons recently for it not to affect that. But if the Bombers can remain competitive in most of their games and at stay in the playoff race towards the end of the season (say 6 or 7 wins) then walk-up crowds should remain respectable.
