As someone who watches both Ottawa and Detroit on a regular basis, this first period in comparison to Detroit's last 2-3 games just shows what a difference maker coaching can be, lol.
We are playing worse than we could through the whole season.

Same thing that happens anytime they start getting too high on their own fumes. They come out thinking it'll be an easy night and proceed to get their ass handed to them. Never seen such an unprepared team.

Yep, there's a real lack of self-awareness on this roster, and I'd say the coach is largely responsible for it, giving them unearned praise when they win in a totally flukey manner as you mention.

Also is irks me how over confident Batherson and Chabot are. They’re skilled but don’t put enough points to justify the negatives.
