Kopitar with zone entry in the middle of the ice... makes a B-line for? The boards.

Bob is the best. It's surreal to think this probably is the last time I'll hear him call a game live. I almost refuse to believe it.

Except for all the time Muzzin was great on the second pair without Doughty. His season has been putrid but there's really no reason to pile on with revisionist statements.

Except Muzzin's best numbers, offensively and defensively (if you measure his advanced stats) all came when paired with Drew.

He's also not producing on the PP and has been surpassed by Martinez this season as the second most productive dman on the team. His time on ice average is also down, and that isn't due to the great amount of depth the team has on the blueline.

Given how he was also the weakest link on Team Canada, a team stacked with talent, I would say he was propped up quite nicely by Doughty.

At least I got to sign a giant card!

It's evident that Drew Doughty carried him and make him look like a respectable defenseman. He is simply not a very smart player when you focus in on his individual effort.

This so much. Not surprising every d-man puts up their best numbers with Doughty; but until this year, Muzzin was actually crushing it even more so AWAY from Doughty as well. That came with softer deployment and matchups as well, but to pretend Muzzin away from Doughty isn't even a respectable player is factually and visually untrue.

Muzzin's numbers were also propped up by his PP production, and guess who he played with?

His numbers have plummeted, and he's not seeing as much ice time with the man advantage due to his porous decision making and horribly aimed, bad angle shots that are either blocked or easily stopped.

Come on man, we all watched the games. Muzzin wasn't getting scored on left and right away from Doughty until this year. It just didn't happen.

And why are you talking about team Canada? That's this year. Everyone agrees he's been horrible this year, and I'm not sure "worst D on team Canada" is really a supporting argument for anything. There are a lot of NHL players that wish they were the worst guy on team Canada...

Using that loaded team as an example that he's been pretty bad even when he wasn't playing with the Kings.

Hey, maybe he can regain his confidence at the World Championships. No reason for him to skip it, unless he's hurt.

Come on you ******s. At least give Bob one more Goal to call. For the Kings I mean..

I was just thinking, would it surprise anyone if the Kings got shutout in Bob Miller's last home broadcast?

Carter used to be money on breakaways. His scoring has dried up, ergo the reason why this team has not been productive since Carter ran out of steam.
