It's amazing how good the team looks when they have 4 NHL caliber lines. And all them had moments where they looked dangerous in the offensive zone.
LOOOOOVE Tyler Motte. Copp is solid as well. Vatrano is decent. But Tyler Motte is our replacement for Fast/Hagelin. He's got that extra gear and his hands are pretty quick. Made a bunch of really underrated plays with his stick to keep the puck going north.
Also, K'Andre looked great tonight. Wow.
Thought Schneider looked solid.
Loved the overall team speed. So much space. Really kept the puck moving up the ice at all times. That was impressive.
Spot on, nothing much really to add to this other than: FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, please keep that 4th line together and keep scratching Reaves. Reavo is a good guy, but Brodzinski flying around the ice tonight, getting in on the forecheck, applying pressure, creating turnovers and chances from them really highlights the fact that Reaves is an anchor out there.Vatrano fits like an absolute glove on that top line. they were electric.
thought the third line had a really fast start but kinda cooled down and played a bit more conservatively. they were solid defensively though, so no complaints there
Copp and Motte have completely changed the PK. Idgaf about Carter's lucky BS goal. PK was outstanding today.
Igor's 3-4 passes after he took the DoG penalty is one of the most fun moments i've seen this year lol, giggling like mad
f*** me Tyler Motte is fast
Instead of doing what they did against the Devils and snorting their own shit, they played a solid, locked down game from the minute the first ended. Puck support was great, back checking was strong, some dead areas in coverage but it's whatever
1 PP lol f*** off
Tiny thought but the 2nd unit looked great, it looked like a unit that could actually score a goal one day!
I am still so unimpressed by the Strome-Panarin duo right now. Panarin was better this game than in previous ones but still, lots of dumb passes. Strome just blows, his lack of effort and forechecking really shows with Copp on the ice.
Well deserved goal for Copp who's had a very active stick and has been all over the ice in both zones
again, excellent effort from start to finish. really like to see that against who's probably gonna be our first matchup in the POs
I have not been active lately on the forums due to personal stuff. Just enjoying watching the games. But this game deserves the top shelf stuff and therefore I will gladly make an exception. What took so long ?
most enjoyable game of the season.I enjoyed that game.
Best game and I missed all but 5 minutes. Fml
Yeah I did miss that, but holy this guy can make hits that set a tone and do so much really .He came from behind his net with the puck, lost it, and Pitt scored. Ruled no goal.
Vatrano goes to the net unafraid, and that is not lost on Mika. Laf did well on that line but he won't quite attack the net like Vatrano. He could've had a second goal off a Mika feed if Letang didn't desperation break it up.Vatrano fits like an absolute glove on that top line. they were electric.

Damn that was a great oneI missed most of the 9-0 win last year.
He should play against the Islanders, Caps and any other heavy teams that I'm forgetting. That's about it.It's gonna be hard for Reavo to get back into a game....
... but... BUT. expect the cheap shots and tough guy acts to pick up
Did I call it, or did I call it? Told ya Gallant wanted to see where the new guys fit. And so what happens, all 3 that he moved around,... scored.Don't read too much into this line juggling. It was inevitable with the addition of new players to see where they fit. IMO, this is more about where Frankie V fits and if he remains in the lineup. Since joining us the 2nd line has stalled. The Breadman has 2 points in 4 games since Frankie V has been there. Prior to that, Panarin had 11 points in 5 games.
Gallant is giving Copp a try there now and Frankie V a chance with Zee and Kreids. That is all this is.
He knows Laff can play with Zee and Kreids,... and he also knows Laff can play with Chytil. This is more about where the new guys fit.
Wow it's a nice game
