I'm so happy to be so wrong about Mika. He could always score, but he's been a complete player this season. Earning every penny.
Miller/Trouba kept the best Center in the league off the board. Already laying the groundwork for getting in Sid's head if we meet each other in the first round.
Copp over Rakell all day.
Probably Motte and Vatrano too.

Panarin sucked for 59 minutes and then makes the perfect pass to Copp. If that was Strome he would have missed the open net.

It's amazing how good the team looks when they have 4 NHL caliber lines. And all them had moments where they looked dangerous in the offensive zone.
LOOOOOVE Tyler Motte. Copp is solid as well. Vatrano is decent. But Tyler Motte is our replacement for Fast/Hagelin. He's got that extra gear and his hands are pretty quick. Made a bunch of really underrated plays with his stick to keep the puck going north.
Also, K'Andre looked great tonight. Wow.
Thought Schneider looked solid.
Loved the overall team speed. So much space. Really kept the puck moving up the ice at all times. That was impressive.

It's all so tiresome
This team has been really enjoyable to watch for 4 of the 6 periods since the trade deadline. Speed, puck pursuit, taking away time and space, puck support has been much improved even if you include the disaster 2nd period last game. If this continues it's a whole new outlook heading into the playoffs.

Vatrano fits like an absolute glove on that top line. they were electric.
thought the third line had a really fast start but kinda cooled down and played a bit more conservatively. they were solid defensively though, so no complaints there
Copp and Motte have completely changed the PK. Idgaf about Carter's lucky BS goal. PK was outstanding today.
Igor's 3-4 passes after he took the DoG penalty is one of the most fun moments i've seen this year lol, giggling like mad

Instead of doing what they did against the Devils and snorting their own shit, they played a solid, locked down game from the minute the first ended. Puck support was great, back checking was strong, some dead areas in coverage but it's whatever

Tiny thought but the 2nd unit looked great, it looked like a unit that could actually score a goal one day!
I am still so unimpressed by the Strome-Panarin duo right now. Panarin was better this game than in previous ones but still, lots of dumb passes. Strome just blows, his lack of effort and forechecking really shows with Copp on the ice.
Well deserved goal for Copp who's had a very active stick and has been all over the ice in both zones

I was happy that I was brought out of my seat for a few quick tempo breakouts between those 2. I really liked what I saw there.
